Adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister on Information Sharmila Farooqi said here on Tuesday that launching of the Benazir Bhutto Mobile Banking (BBMB) in Larkana by President Asif Ali Zardari would bring a new era of development to the country and this would ensure empowerment of women.
This new product’s card facility would provide women with the provision of protection and rescue, enabling its users to register a complaint in this regard, she said. The adviser said this would promote e-banking in the country. “With the launching of this banking system, the president has fulfilled another promise made to the people for their development,” she said. “There is a need to strengthen the federation and develop harmony among the provinces as per the wisdom and vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, who wanted Pakistan in the club of the developed nations,” she said.
